Israeli tank shellings and airstrikes killed 25 Palestinians, including seven children, this past Wednesday. The series of attacks is said to be the highest toll since the ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas was signed on October 10th, per the BBC. This latest rush comes just days after 30 Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes on Saturday, according to hospitals. 

The French parliament ratifies an amendment to add consent to the legal definition of sexual assault. In a  327-0  vote on Wednesday, the country’s senate passed the bill in favor of defining sexual assault as a non-consensual act after 51 men were convicted for the sexual assault of Gisel Pelicot.
