Premiering 16 years ago in 2010 on VH1, Basketball Wives followed the lives and friendships of current and former NBA basketball wives and girlfriends. Locations for the show included Miami, Florida, and Los Angeles, California. The show was created and executive-produced by Shaunie Henderson, basketball icon Shaquille O’Neal’s ex-wife and the mother of his kids.
